Japan U-19s lose to Mexico in Milk Cup

The Japan Under-19 team lost 3-1 to Mexico in their second match of the Northern Ireland Milk Cup on Wednesday night.

The young Japanese side took the lead in the 17th minute through Toshiyuki Takagi but gave away goals in the 37th, 52nd and 64th minutes as they suffered their second straight defeat in the tournament.

Japan will next play China on Friday.
