Hurricane Sandy affected the lives of many people who live and work in cities, towns and neighborhoods across the tri-state area. Sadly, many of New York City's Caribbean teachers were among those who saw their property, memories and hopes washed away by the storm. Please join the Association of International Educators and the Black Institute in raising funds and building support for these public school teachers who left their homeland to come here, educate our children and fulfill their dreams. Together we can help keep their dream alive. Please come and support this important event.
Suggested donation: $30
All proceeds will benefit NYC Caribbean teachers who suffered property damage or loss due to Hurricane Sandy.
