Foreign Office condemns attack by Israeli settlers

"We welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu's condemnation of this serious incident and his stated commitment that the Israeli authorities will investigate it thoroughly".
Commenting on the attack by Israeli settlers on Palestinians on 16 August, a Foreign Office spokesperson said:
"We condemn the criminal attack by extremist Israeli settlers on a car near Bethlehem, which resulted in severe burns to several members of a Palestinian family. We welcome Prime Minister Netanyahu's condemnation of this serious incident and his stated commitment that the Israeli authorities will investigate it thoroughly".
