London should be given a golden green medal-they've made Olympic efforts at environmental stewardship and sustainability for this year's games. The three links/articles below discuss how they've succeeded in multiple ways.

This year Totally Green has witnessed, and contributed to, the many sustainable practices happening around the world. Our green products are being used by major businesses and corporations across the U.S. and Canada; meanwhile we've been watching and learning as major international forces, including the United Nations and 2012 Olympics, tackle new policies and paradigm shifts to bring about positive green change. Even inside the U.S., Los Angeles is banning plastic bags while Vermont is enacting composting and recycling laws. Small steps are being taken in every state.

What's more, we now have NASA scientists saying global warming and climate change is here to stay, and that it's mostly from human practices and greenhouse gases. On a related note, our ORCA Food Digester greatly reduces methane gas production, a major greenhouse gas. But it doesn't take a NASA scientist to tell us the world weather and climate are taking turns for the worse-just turn on the news.

Still, there's hope for the planet, as affirmed in the New York Times Article we reposted in our blog last week. And we've been receiving a large amount of positive feedback on our ORCA Green Machine, from the likes of Dallas Cowboys Stadium, Aflac, OSU, BOK Center, Tulsa Convention Center, and the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. Visit our Videos & Media section for these testimonials.

We congratulate the Olympic athletes in the U.S. and around the world for their hard work, dedication, and excellence. The Olympics inspire us and bring us together; the world seems smaller and more connected; success stories are shared. People want to put their best foot forward. Let us all align forces for a higher, greener quality of life-for ourselves and for our future generations.
