ATLANTA - Visitors of the Ivan Allen Jr. Braves Museum & Hall of Fame can now enjoy a free cell phone tour chronicling the more than 140 years of Braves history. Legendary broadcaster and Braves Hall of Famer Pete Van Wieren provides the voice of the tours, taking listeners through 14 stops of the museum and highlighting the careers of 24 Braves Hall Of Fame members. The free cell phone tours are available by dialing the special number assigned to the museum.

Named the 2012 #1 favorite ballpark museum in the United States by Ballpark Digest, the Braves Museum & Hall of Fame is an educational and engaging venue located within Turner Field. Featuring more than 600 Braves artifacts and photographs that trace the team's history from its beginnings in Boston (1871-1952) to Milwaukee (1953-65) to Atlanta (1966-present), the Braves Museum is packed-full of interesting and intriguing relics for fans of all ages. Listeners can choose their own route and move through the years at their leisure.

As visitors journey through time touring the Braves Museum, they will come across irreplaceable artifacts, including Hank Aaron's #715 bat and ball, Warren Spahn's Cy Young Award and Purple Heart, Dale Murphy's two MVP Awards, Sid Bream's knee brace from his historic slide home in 1992, and the Braves 1995 World Series trophy and championship rings, and much more.

"We are introducing the free cell phone tours for fans that want to dive deeper into our rich history. Narrated by fan-favorite, Pete Van Wieren, this immersive tour takes listeners through the decades to relive all the action of Braves baseball," said Carolyn Serra, director of Braves Museum & Hall of Fame. "The new cell phone tour complements the Braves Museum and allows visitors to access information, on-demand and without the need for any equipment rental."

In addition to the Braves Museum & Hall of Fame, fans can take behind the scenes tours of Turner Field and have the opportunity to sit in the Braves dugout, visit the Braves press box and broadcast booths, see their favorite players' lockers in the Braves clubhouse, and much more. Turner Field tours include admission to the Braves Museum. For more information including operating hours and to purchase tickets, fans are encouraged to visit braves.com/museum and braves.com/tours.

Atlanta Braves game tickets, starting as low as $6, are available at braves.com/tickets, the Braves Ticket Office at Turner Field, the Braves Clubhouse Store at the CNN Center, all PUBLIX Ticketmaster outlets, or by calling 1-800-745-3000.
