AGP Reiterates 2Q Earnings Release Date - Company Will Not Host Conference Call

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Monday, July 23, 2012) - Amerigroup Corporation (NYSE: AGP) reiterated today that it will report its earnings for the second quarter ended June 30, 2012, at approximately 6:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
Given the July 9, 2012 announcement of the definitive agreement in which WellPoint will acquire Amerigroup, the Company will no longer be hosting a conference call following its second quarter earnings release.
