Ground Envirotech Pte Ltd ("GEPL") is being wound-up by way of members' voluntary winding-up pursuant to Section 290(1)(b) of the Singapore Companies Act, Cap. 50. The liquidation of GEPL is part of the corporate structure streamlining exercise of the Group.

GEPL is a wholly-owned subsidiary of IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, which in turn is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company. GEPL was incorporated in Singapore on 16 February 2000. The cost of investment in GEPL is RM10,372,370.

The voluntary winding-up of GEPL will not have any significant financial and operational impact on the Group for the financial year ending 31 March 2013, and no material loss is expected arising from the winding-up proceedings.

None of the Directors or major shareholders of the Company, or persons connected with them, has any interest, direct or indirect, in the winding-up of GEPL and no approval of shareholders is required.
