17-07-2012 | Diehl Metall, Diehl Metal Applications
STANZtec, the trade fair for stamping technologies in Pforzheim, Germany, set a record high as it opened its doors to around 3500 visitors. Diehl Metall made its third appearance at the fair, showcasing its broad and impressive technology portfolio alongside its companies Sundwiger Messingwerk and Schempp+Decker.
"The STANZtec fair offered a good opportunity to prove our
expertise, allowing us to demonstrate our consolidated
know-how in the areas of semi-finished products as well as
in plating and press-fit technologies," says Taina Temmen,
Director Strategic Marketing.
The focus was on copper alloys for strips &
wires, material development as well as efficient
recycling solutions. The material portfolio on show ranged
from brass and bronze to low-alloyed copper, nickel silver
and heat-treatable special alloys.
Furthermore, in the area of
plating technology the trade fair visitors had the
chance find out more about reel-to-reel plating of highly
complex stamping parts and about the resource-efficient use
of precious metals.
For Diehl Metall the rest of the year remains exciting. At
the end of October, EuroBLECH, the international sheet
metal working technology exhibition, is taking place in
Hanover. Then it is on to Munich 3 weeks later for
participation at hybridica, the international trade fair
for hybrid components. We look forward to welcoming you
there!
