Despite criticism over their generous executive compensation packages, the California State University trustees approved raises for three new campus presidents today, including a 9 percent increase for Leslie Wong, San Francisco State University's new president.
Wong now will earn $325,000 per year. Tomás Morales of CSU San Bernardino and Dianne Harrison of CSU Northridge each got a 10 percent pay increase, the maximum now allowable under CSU's executive pay policy. Morales will earn $319,000 a year, and Harrison will earn $324,000. All three also will receive a $1,000-per-month car stipend.
