Intermittent Full Bridge Closures At Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge Overnight July 10th - 11th and July 11th - 12th
There will be several full, intermittent bridge closures of up to 40 minutes at the Marine Parkway-Gil Hodges Memorial Bridge on two overnights next week for necessary inspection and maintenance of the lift span.
The work requires four closures with each lasting between 30-40 minutes. They will begin at 10 p.m. Tues., July 10th until 5 a.m. on Wed., July 11th. The same intermittent closures will take place the following night, Wed., July 11th through Thurs., July 12th between 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.
Electronic signs will be in place. Motorists are advised to use the Cross Bay Veterans Memorial Bridge as an alternate route.
