The next "Coffee with the Council" event is scheduled for Friday, July 13 at 8:30 a.m. at the Port St. Lucie Community Center. This month's speaker will be Mayor JoAnn M. Faiella.

"Coffee with the Council" is an event that provides citizens with a chance to hear ideas on timely topics presented by either the mayor or a city council member and to ask questions about issues of personal interest.

The event is sponsored by the St. Lucie County Chamber of Commerce, which coordinates with various businesses, groups and associations.
