Commenting on the results of today's Contemporary Art Day Auction, Olivia Thornton, Director and Head of Sale, said: "We are pleased with the results of today's sale which brought the within-estimate total of £13,805,950 and solid sell-through rates of 69.1% by lot and 76.1% by value. In-line with last night's Evening Auction, works of the highest quality by established post-war and contemporary artists, such as Richter, Warhol and Fontana, continue to command the highest prices. We are also thrilled that we were able to play a small part in helping to realise the £651,100 for the twelve lots sold to benefit the Helen Bamber Foundation."
