Public Media Programs Receive 12 Imagen Award Nominations
Nominees for the 27th Annual Imagen
Awards were announced this week, honoring positive
portrayals of Latinos in media. PBS programs and content
received a total of four nominations, while four PBS
stations also earned nods. In total, public media received
a combined 12 nominations. Winners will be presented on
Friday, August 10, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel
International Ballroom. The Imagen Awards will air Sunday,
September 23 on PBS SoCal.
