ARINC Aerospace Expands Hydraulic Filter Testing Center to Commercial Customers

Annapolis-ARINC Aerospace is pleased to announce that it has expanded its Oklahoma City-based Hydraulic Filter Testing Center to commercial customers. The Testing Center is AS9100-certified and provides efficiency and conditioning tests for customers seeking performance verification, new product performance confirmation, or independent assessments regarding performance concerns. The Testing Center operates as an independent testing facility so proprietary data is fully protected.
The Testing Center offers multi-pass, cyclic flow multi-pass,
pressure buildup and collapse, and gravimetric single pass
efficiency tests. Conditioning tests include low and high
temperature immersion, cold start, bubble point, and
gravimetric analysis. All tests are performed using either
MIL-PRF-87257, MIL-PRF-83282, or MIL-PRF-5606 type hydraulic
fluids.

contract with the U.S. Air Force ensures that highly accurate
test results are generated using the highest standards

ARINC engineers and technicians carefully design each test
setup to meet AS9100 aerospace quality management system
requirements. A walk-in freezer allows for cold-start testing
on four filters simultaneously at temperatures as low as -70
degrees F. The Testing Center also uses Bonavista
Technologies, Inc.-designed and built, computer-controlled,
multi-pass and pressure buildup and collapse test stands and
a PAMAS S40 Particle Counter to generate controlled,
repeatable and precise test results.
