Time is running out to list an event or activity in Council's Free Senior's Week Calender of events with the closing date being Thursday 21 June 2012.

In support of Seniors Week, running from August 18 to 26 this year, Council is compiling a calendar of Seniors Week events and activities happening across the Southern Downs region.

"The calendar of events is distributed far and wide throughout our region and is just one of the ways that Council supports the promotion of Seniors Week and its commitment to seniors in the Southern Downs," said Council's Manager Community Development, Sheila Stebbings.

"It would be a shame to miss out on this FREE opportunity to advertise your event in this listing", she said.

If you would like your event or activity included in this year's calendar of events, you will need to complete the Seniors Week Calendar of Events Listing Form.

Forms are available from Council's Customer Service Centres and Libraries or by phoning Customer Service on 4661 0300 (Warwick) or 4681 5500 (Stanthorpe), or why not download the form from the 'About Council' section on our website: www.southerndowns.qld.gov.au. Forms should be returned to Council no later than Thursday, 21 June 2012.
