PORTLAND, Ore. - The Portland Timbers U-23s return home after three consecutive road games to play host to North Sound SeaWolves FC in a Father's Day clash Sunday at Sherwood High School in Sherwood Ore. at 5 p.m. (Pacific).

Tickets for Sunday's match will be available for purchase at the door; gates open at 4 p.m.

The Timbers U-23s (5-2-1, 16pts) open the second half of their 2012 Premier Development League season, presented by Billups Worldwide, on Sunday and currently sit one point out of first place in the Northwest Division. Portland closed the first half of the season on June 9, earning a 2-2 road draw against the Kitsap Pumas on goals by forwards Clark Phillips and Erik Hurtado.

The Timbers U-23s and SeaWolves FC (3-4-0, 9pts) open a two-game, regular-season series on Sunday. Last season, Portland won both matchups against North Sound, including a 5-1 road victory on July 22. In the first meeting between the two teams, the Timbers U-23s recorded a 2-0 win at JELD-WEN Field on May 25, 2011. The Timbers U-23s have out-scored SeaWolves FC 7-1 in the two games played in the all-time series.

North Sound, which has lost its last two matches, visits the Timbers U-23s for one of its 10 regular-season matches during the month of June. Following Sunday's match, SeaWolves FC returns home for a four-game stretch, which includes a second meeting against Portland on Monday, June 25.

The Timbers U-23s are a perfect 4-0-0 at home in 2012, where they have out-scored opponents, 13-2.
