CONROE- Consolidated Communications is
saluting local sheriff departments with its 2012 phone book
recently delivered to area residents and businesses.
Thecover of the new Southern Fort Bend County
phonebook features photos of representatives from Fort Bend
County Sheriff's Office.
"We're excited to highlight the vital
work of our local law enforcement professionals by
featuring them on our phonebook cover," said Randy
Barcus, Directory Manager. "Our directories represent
our community, and law enforcement is an essential part of
all of our communities."
Thedirectory also includes easy-to-read white
and yellow page listings, and features a newcomer's
guide and handy governmental listings for Southern Fort
Bend County.
Thenew book is also available through an
easy-to-use mobile format and has iPhone and Android
applications, giving users the ability to search for yellow
page listings while they're on the go. The mobile
application offers a "click to call" feature and
ability to search listings through voice activated
search.
Theonline version is always available to
search for business and residential information. To access

The online and mobile phone book provides the ability to
search for a business by name or category, maps, driving
directions and access to many advertiser Web sites and
their videos.
ConsolidatedCommunications is also encouraging
area residents to recycle their old telephone directories
by dropping them off at the Katy Communication Center, 2001
Katy Mills Blvd., Suite M. The center is open Monday
through Friday from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. and on Saturday
from 9 a.m. until noon. Additional directories are also
available at the center.
