Florida Tech Womens Business Center Presents Preparing for Life's Surprises June 14

MELBOURNE, FLA.-The Women's Business Center at Florida Institute of Technology presents the next presentation in the Sharp Woman Luncheon Series, "Preparing for Life's Surprises," with Janice Hill, June 14. Hill, with Wells Fargo Financial Advisors, will discuss estate planning and becoming a purposeful philanthropist. Also presenting will be Lynne Strynchuk of Moisand, Fitzgerald Tamayo, LLC. She will present "Death, Divorce and Loss of a Job."

The event will be 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Denius Student Center's second-floor Hartley Room, on campus. Lunch and networking are 11:30-12:15. The cost is $30 a person or $300 for a reserved table of eight.

The Sharp Woman series is underwritten by Wells Fargo. This program of networking luncheons is designed to provide participants with tools and skills to use in everyday life to adjust to the new economy, be successful and live a rewarding, purposeful life. Participants will learn sound money management, smart investing for the future and retirement, how to repair and keep good credit, what to do if the mortgage is upside down, how to keep their mortgage afloat, how not to get scammed by grants or loans with huge interest rates, how to create a life's plan that gives back and reflects one's values, voice and vision, and, overall, how to be more financially sound and secure. The program will also provide networking leads, mentors for life and great ideas to promote economic empowerment.

RSVP by June 11 by sending email to wbc@fit.edu or by calling (321) 674-7007.
