MasterCard and Tourism Authority of Thailand Collaborate to Bring
Exclusive Travel and Shopping Deals Only for MasterCard Cardholders

Bangkok, 1 June 2012 - Mrs. Vilaiwan Twichasri, Deputy Governor for International Marketing (Europe, Africa, Middle East, and Americas), Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), together with Mr. Gregg Hirano, vice president and country manager for Thailand, MasterCard Worldwide, today announced the launch of Thailand Miracle Shopping 2012. Local and foreign shoppers will enjoy special travel and shopping deals as well as other exciting privileges when they pay with their MasterCard cards for purchases during the campaign.
The campaign comes as a part of the continuous and long-standing relationship between TAT and MasterCard who have previously collaborated on numerous campaigns to support Thailand's tourism, help fuel overall economy, and promote e-commerce in the country.

The Thailand Miracle Shopping 2012 campaign runs from 1 June 2012 to 11 July 2012. The travel period for travel packages purchased is from 15 June 2012 through 30 September 2012. In additional to online shopping through www.thailandmiracleshopping.com, the privileges of Thailand Miracle Shopping will also be offered at the travel fair held at Central Plaza Ladprao from 12 - 15 July 2012.
TAT and MasterCard will also promote this campaign through its network in Thailand and China - the fastest growing market for visitors to Thailand.
