Long & Foster® Real Estate, Inc., the largest independent residential real estate company in the United States, has announced that its Strawberry Street office, located in Richmond, Va., will recognize the company's annual Community Service Day on June 6, by volunteering for the Strawberry Street Clean Up.
The Strawberry Street office will be just one of Long & Foster's more than 170 sales offices throughout the firm's seven-state, Mid-Atlantic region, and Washington, D.C., to perform service projects within the communities they serve, according to John Martin, managing broker.
"Many of us live in the surrounding area of Strawberry Street and we really enjoy giving back to our community. The Strawberry Street office has participated in a Cleanup for The Fan District for several years and it has become a tradition with our sales associates and staff that we look forward to every year," Martin said.
Long & Foster sales associates and employees from throughout the company, including staff from its headquarters located in Chantilly, Va., will participate in a variety of volunteer activities such as working to clean up, refurbish and repair nearby parks, schools, shelters, homes, day care centers and local organizations that provide crucial services to the community.
