Cadence to
Showcase Innovation for
Prototyping and Early
Software Development at
embedded world
2013
Feldkirchen, Germany, 12
Dec 2012
Cadence Design Systems,
Inc. (NASDAQ: CDNS), a
leader in global
electronic design
innovation, today
announced its
participation at
embedded world 2013 to
demonstrate the
company's latest
innovations of its
Cadence® System
Development Suite.
Visitors to Cadence's
booth will have the
opportunity to learn
about the latest
enhancements to the
Cadence® System
Development Suite
presented at this
year's annual Cadence
user conference CDNLive
EMEA in Munich,
Germany. The suite is
comprised of four
platforms: the
Cadence Virtual System
Platform,
Cadence Incisive
Development
Platform,
Cadence Palladium
Verification Computing
Platform, and the
Cadence Rapid
Prototyping
Platform. These
platforms help
accelerate system
integration,
validation, and
bring-up with a set of
four connected
platforms for
concurrent
hardware/software
design and
verification. Its
technologies span the
entire design cycle,
from early
architectural-level
software development
through testbench
simulation and system
validation to
prototyping. It is open
for third-party
integration and
supports industry
standards and multiple
levels of design
abstraction. It allows
easy migration among
the four platforms and
between HW/SW
domains.
Nimish Modi, Senior
Vice President,
Research and
Development, System and
Software Realization
Group of Cadence said,
"As technology grows
more complex, software
is eclipsing hardware
as the main driver of
system development
cost, schedule, and
risk. Because software
applications have
become a primary
product differentiator,
systems and
semiconductor companies
must provide not only
silicon, but complete
hardware and software
systems ready for apps
deployment. EDA
companies must provide
solutions for both, and
embedded world provides
the ideal venue for us
to engage with the
industry on these
system-level
challenges."
