TASER Receives Four Large Orders

SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- (Marketwire) -- 12/06/12 -- TASER International, Inc. (NASDAQ: TASR) today announced four large TASER® electronic control device (ECD) orders for more than 885 TASER® X2™ ECDs and 1750 TASER X26™ ECDs in the fourth quarter of 2012.
TASER received and anticipates shipping the following orders for TASER ECDs and various related accessories in the fourth quarter:
- Knox County Sheriff's Office (TN) for 285 X2s
- International order for 600 X2s
- U.S. military order for 500 X26s
- International order for 1250 X26s
"These orders signify a strong vote of confidence from the law enforcement community in our TASER technology," said Rick Smith, CEO and founder of TASER International. "We are thrilled that numerous agencies have decided that X2s are an essential and cost-effective part of fulfilling their mission to improve safety for their communities and officers."

The X2 was launched in 2011 as TASER's next generation ECD. It provides a second shot capability, charge metering for improved safety, Trilogy™ Logs with detailed firing and electrical pulse information, automatic shut off ability, compatibility with TASER CAM™ HD audio/video camera system, and free data upload access to TASER's EVIDENCE.com secure, cloud-based data storage and management solution service.
