The online university now offers 10 specializations in its PhD in Business Management

MINNEAPOLIS, October 31, 2012 - Capella University (http://www.capella.edu), an accredited online university* that has built its reputation by providing high quality online degree programs for working adults, has announced a new Strategy and Innovation specialization within its online PhD in Business Management. Capella now offers 10 specializations within its PhD in Business Management. The majority of these specializations, including Strategy and Innovation, share specialization courses with their counterparts in Capella's 10 Doctor of Business Administration ( DBA) specializations. New specialization develops innovation leaders, educators of future innovators, and advanced researchers
Whether the goal is a faculty, leadership, consulting, or research role, Capella's new PhD specialization in Strategy and Innovation is designed to build deep theoretical and practical knowledge of the strategies successful organizations use to create and sustain innovation. The curriculum emphasizes evidence-based, multi-disciplined research for analyzing global trends, building the skills business leaders need to recognize opportunities and develop strategies for future-state products. With an emphasis on innovation leadership, the curriculum also develops the insights needed to lead and influence at all levels of an organization. A strong focus on research techniques plus in-person learning experiences builds skills in conducting global research.
