Chip Shot: Intel EPSD Rolls out Intel® Xeon Phi™ Coprocessor Support and New Server Motherboard at SC’12

At Supercomputing 12, Intel's Enterprise Platforms and Services Division (EPSD) demonstrated support for the newly released Intel® Xeon Phi™ built on Intel's Many Integrated Core (MIC) architecture in their server board and system offerings. Server resellers using Intel® Server Boards and Systems will be able to configure a broad range of server offerings supporting Intel® Xeon Phi™ coprocessors. Intel also unveiled their new 4 socket server board S4600LH (formerly codenamed Lizard Head Pass), and the associated server system R2000LHT.
