Media General to Present at the UBS Global Media & Communications Conference

RICHMOND, Va.
- Media General, Inc. (NYSE: MEG), a local broadcast television and digital media company, will present at the 40th Annual UBS Global Media & Communications Conference on Wednesday, December 5 at 10:00 a.m., in New York, N.Y. Marshall Morton, president and chief executive officer, George Mahoney, vice president and chief operating officer, and Jim Woodward, vice president-finance and chief financial officer, will report on the company's transformation to a pure-play broadcaster, its 2012 results and its future prospects.

The presentation will be simultaneously webcast on the company's website at www.mediageneral.com. A link to the webcast will be on the homepage.  A replay of the webcast will be available on the homepage on December 5. The full text of the presentation and the slides will also be posted to the company's website on December 5.
