(Nasdaq: ENTR), a world leader in semiconductor solutions for the connected home, announced today its Quality Management System (QMS) has been awarded ISO 9001:2008 re-certification based on standards established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). Successfully passing the audit, conducted by ISA Inc., a certification body providing certification/registration to QMS standards, is a testament to Entropic's commitment to producing high quality products, services and solutions.
Entropic's San Diego, Calif., facility and headquarters has been certified to ISO QMS standards since 2006. The Company last achieved ISO9001:2008 certification in 2009, and has passed all subsequent surveillance audits. Re-establishing the certification provides assurance to customers and employees that the Company is both focused and compliant in meeting industry quality requirements.
