BLOOMINGTON, Minn. (February 6, 2013) - The Toro Company is pleased to announce its renewed multi-year commitment to support The Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) and The Club Foundation through the CMAA Corporate Alliance Program. In its new five-year agreement, Toro has increased its financial commitment and will remain a Bronze Alliance Partner. In 2007, Toro joined the Corporate Alliance Program becoming the first turf maintenance and irrigation solution company to make a long-term commitment to the development and furtherance of the club management professional.
The Corporate Alliance Program is a collaborative effort between CMAA, The Club Foundation and 15 corporate entities who have demonstrated a leadership role within the club industry. The program connects club management professionals with smart solutions powered by trusted industry partners.
Jim Singerling, CCM, chief executive officer of CMAA and president of The Club Foundation, shares "Without the support of The Toro Company, we could not provide our industry-leading professional development and initiatives which benefit the club management community. We look forward to our continued partnership and the innovation that they bring to our industry."
"The CMAA and Toro closely align in our philosophies of professional development for the purpose of improving the customer experience," said Darren Redetzke, vice president of Toro's Commercial Business. "We're delighted to be extending and enhancing our partnership with the CMAA - serving its members and our industry as a whole."
Toro's Bronze Partnership supports select events and activities at the CMAA World Conference and annual Mid-Management Conference. In addition, its contributions benefit the Chapter and Student Grants program of The Club Foundation.
