Miramar, Florida (December 5, 2012) - Houston and Central Florida, get ready for even more ultra low fare options - and just in time for Valentine's and President's Day Weekend. Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today announced that it is adding daily nonstop service between Houston's George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Orlando International Airport (MCO) starting February 14, 2012.

The flight will also operate as new one-stop continuation service via Dallas/Fort Worth (DFW) as DFW-IAH-MCO and MCO-IAH-DFW, complementing Spirit's existing non-stop service between DFW and Orlando.

Customers can check out the insanely low fares offered every day at www.spirit.com and also sign up to receive email alerts on Spirit's deals and offers.

"We're thrilled to save consumers money while satisfying their desire to travel. With our affordable low fares, we offer the best value in travel," says Spirit's Chief Marketing Officer Barry Biffle. "Spirit's ultra low fares and optional add-ons provide customers a total price that's tough to beat."

"We offer a Texas-sized thank you to Spirit Airlines for growing the number of low fare flights at George Bush Intercontinental Airport," said Mario C. Diaz, director of aviation for Houston Airports. "I am confident that the vibrant Houston economy will continue to make a lasting impression on the leadership team at Spirit and our partnership will grow even stronger as a result."

"Orlando International Airport is pleased to have another nonstop route to one of our most popular destinations. Spirit's new low fare service expands our connection to the Houston metropolitan area, which is Orlando's 7th largest domestic market with nearly 2800 passengers per day," says Phil Brown, Executive Director, Greater Orlando Aviation Authority.

Spirit introduced its ultra low fare service to Houstonians in September with twice daily nonstop service to Dallas/Fort Worth, and started daily nonstop service from Houston to both Chicago O'Hare and Las Vegas in October. Spirit offers connections from Houston to 12 destinations throughout the Americas, including Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Denver, Fort Myers, Las Vegas, Myrtle Beach, Oakland/San Francisco, Phoenix/Mesa, Portland (Oregon), Tampa, and Toluca/Mexico City.

Spirit offers Orlando customers nonstop service to Atlantic City, Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Fort Worth, Detroit, Fort Lauderdale, Latrobe/Pittsburgh, and now Houston.
