Can't find that ice scraper from last year? Don't worry, Republic Bank can help you take that first layer of
"winter wonderland" off your windshield.
All 34 Republic Bank banking centers in Louisville, Lexington, Crestwood, Elizabethtown, Frankfort, Georgetown, Owensboro, Shelbyville, and Shepherdsville, Kentucky; and in Floyds Knobs, Jeffersonville and New Albany, Indiana are accepting donations for ice scrapers of $1.00 or more. All proceeds will benefit the Honor Flight Bluegrass Chapter.
"As the area's largest community bank, we wanted to assist Honor Flight's mission to transport America's veterans to Washington, D.C. to visit those memorials dedicated to honor their service and sacrifices. By supporting Honor Flight, these veterans will be able to visit their memorial at no cost to the veteran," stated Steve Trager, Chairman and CEO - Republic Bank.
For the past 10 years, Republic Bank has continued to raise funds for various charities by providing ice scrapers in the winter months and reusable shopping bags the rest of the year to sell in its area banking centers.
