Granite City Food & Brewery® Setto Open Restaurant in Lyndhurst, Ohio

Expected to be the 3rfh Granite City restaurant when it opens in 2013

MINNEAPOLIS October 22,2012-Granite City Food & Brewery Ltd. (NASDAQ: GCFB), a casual dining restaurant group is continuing to grow with the announcement that it is building a new Granite City Food & Brewery in Lyndhurst, Ohio at the Legacy Village lifestyle center. The Company recently signed a long term lease with Legacy Village Investors, LLC. and expects the new restaurant to open in 2013.
Legacy Village is an upscale shopping, dining and entertainment complex located east of Cleveland in Lyndhurst, Ohio. The outdoor mall which opened in 2003 combines a variety of interesting restaurants with popular home fumishing, clothing and housewares retailers. The result is aesthetically pleasing and fun for guests ofthe complex. The development is the only regional shopping destination that has over l 00 events a year including bands every Friday night in the summer, art festivals and the Taste ofLegacy which attracts thousands ofvisitors a year. The new restaurant, expected to be the 301 restaurant in the Granite City chain, will feature a contemporary upscale design that was recently developed by the company and was unveiled in the Troy area in May 2012. The Company expects to open the new restaurant at Legacy in the summer of2013 following the openings ofGranite City restaurants in Franklin, TN and Indianapolis, IN. The restaurant's newly designed interior will feature a wrap-around bar which flows into an atrium, an exposed kitchen and a centrai wood-fired pizza oven.
