UNL awards go to Distinguished Entrepreneurs

The Center for Entrepreneurship in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Business Administration announced its 2013 UNL Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards. The event is held in conjunction with the three-day EntrepreneuringDays@UNL event at CBA this week.

The 2013 award winners are:

Nebraska Distinguished Entrepreneur Award -- Michael D. Hays. He is the CEO and director of National Research Corporation which he founded in 1981. NRC is headquartered in Lincoln, with offices in San Diego, Seattle and Toronto. Under Hays' leadership, NRC has become a recognized industry leader specializing in health care performance measurement in the United States and Canada. His research experience spans more than 30 years.
