"We value the safety of our customers and employees above all else," said Gerald Miller, Black Hills Energy's Dodge City operations supervisor. "The efforts of dedicated employees such as Kenneth, Joe and Michael are key to the company's ability to provide safe and reliable service that our customers can count on."
Their responsibilities include repair of gas and electric appliances through Service Guard, a Black Hills Energy affiliate. They also perform heating and cooling repairs and annual inspections and natural gas service work for Black Hills Energy's customers in Dodge City.
Black Hills Energy encourages promotion from within, rewards employees for their accomplishments and recognizes them for their efforts. "These individuals are great examples of employees who actively pursue opportunities for personal and professional growth, to the benefit of our customers and our company," said Miller.
Helms is a graduate of Southwest Kansas Technical School. He is a licensed Kansas journeyman electrician and is currently studying for his mechanical license. His volunteer activities include the Seward County Correctional Facility and the Dodge City Good Samaritan Center
Stevens is an active volunteer with Black Hills Energy, participating in the Weatherization and Power of Trees programs, as well as in the Dodge City Parade of Lights Chili Cook-Off.
Griego volunteers his time with Black Hills Energy in the Power of Trees program and personally as a Patriot Guard and in support of various not-for-profit fundraisers such as Relay for Life.
