SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Jan. 30, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Envivio (Nasdaq:ENVI), a leading provider of live and on-demand multi-screen IP video processing and delivery solutions, today announced the appointment of industry executive Ira Goldfarb as senior vice president of global sales and service. Mr. Goldfarb takes on responsibility for Envivio's worldwide sales, professional services and customer support.

Mr. Goldfarb served in a variety of sales and executive leadership roles with SeaChange International (Nasdaq:SEAC) from 1994 to 2012. Most recently, he was executive vice president, worldwide sales and service. His experience spans both software and hardware-based system sales, as well as management of various technical service and support organizations. Mr. Goldfarb joined SeaChange in 1994 when the company's revenue was less than one million dollars, and during his tenure, revenue grew to 216 million dollars in 2011.
