Spirit Airlines Announces New Ultra Low Fare Service Between Houston and Los Angeles

Miramar, Florida (January 30, 2013) - Spirit Airlines (NASDAQ: SAVE) today announced it is starting ultra low fare service between Houston George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on April 25, 2013.

Customers can check out the insanely low fares on flights and vacation packages offered every day at www.spirit.com and also sign up to receive email alerts on Spirit's deals and offers.

"We look forward to giving even more customers the opportunity to save money on travel with our ultra low fares and optional add-ons that provide customers with a total price that's tough to beat," said Spirit's Chief Marketing Officer Barry Biffle.  

"Houston leads the nation in economic recovery and the Houston Airport System is delighted to add new nonstop flights to Los Angeles," said Mario C. Diaz, Director of the Houston Airport System.  "Bush Intercontinental welcomes the expansion by Spirit Airlines as we celebrate this increased capacity between Texas and California."  

Spirit currently offers daily nonstop service from Houston to Chicago, Dallas/Fort Worth and Las Vegas, as well as a variety of connections throughout the Americas.  As previously announced, daily nonstop service between Houston and Orlando begins February 14, 2013.
