MADISON, Wis. - October 8, 2012 - Executives from Sonic Foundry, Inc. (NASDAQ: SOFO), the trusted market leader for video management and academic, enterprise and event webcasting, have been invited to speak at two premier technology conferences in the Middle East this month.They will share Sonic Foundry's vision of video-based instructional media at universities, outline strategies for scalable educational technology and highlight significant customer successes in the region.

Rob Lipps, executive vice president, will be at Kuwait EDUTECH 2012 presenting "Your Very Own Campus YouTube: The Future of Video in Education" on Wednesday, October 10 at 10:20 a.m. AST.

The following week Ray Hassell, vice president of international, will be at InfoComm Middle East and Africa in Dubai leading the panel discussion " Massive Lecture Capture Deployments: Go Big or Go Home" on Wednesday, October 17 at 2:00 p.m. GST.
