Bruno Mettling, Human Resources Director of the Group said: "This survey has once again demonstrated Orange's ability to maintain its position as a leading actor in innovation, including social innovation".
The survey also indicates that 26% of job seekers already use a mobile device in search for job opportunities, and 59% think they will use one soon.
63% of respondents said they are interested in monitoring their job applications using a mobile device, and 47% said they would submit their candidature on their mobile device. 56% of respondents said they would use a special mobile app.
The interface offered by Orange to potential candidates and anyone looking for professional opportunities provides a high-quality search engine that enables them to consult the Group's offers, particularly on mobiles and tablets. The Group's orange.jobs site can be used on any "responsive design" screen, which automatically adjusts to the use of a tablet or a smartphone.
In addition, the Group offers its Orange Jobs mobile app free of charge in more than 20 countries. Already downloaded more than 62,000 times in French and English, it puts numerous opportunities at job searchers' fingertips with push notifications about offers corresponding to their search parameters or the geo-localization of many jobs and internships.
Accounting for the use of the orange.jobs site on a mobile device and of the Orange Jobs app, nearly 20% of the more than 200,000 monthly visits are now mobile, compared with only 12% a year ago. In addition, Orange has also moved up 12 places to rank 7th in France in the Teweb survey on the quality of employer sites.
