WEST HAVEN, CONN. - The University of New Haven has announced that five professors have been granted tenure and promoted to associate professor and one associate professor has been promoted to full professor.
Promoted to associate professor and granted tenure are:
Kadija Al Arkoubi, management and Esin Cakan, economics, both in the College of Business; Daniel Mabrey and David Schroeder, both also assistant deans of the Henry C. Lee College of Criminal Justice; Amanda Bozack, education, and Chris Reba, music, both in the College of Arts and Sciences.
Nancy Niemi, associate professor and chair of the education program in the College of Arts and Sciences, has been promoted to professor.
The promotions and tenure are effective Sept. 1.
